Sales Projections by Territory

So what are typical rates distributors are paying for territories around the world?

The prices distributors are willing to pay to exclusively acquire a film at any given time depends on several factors - does the film have A-list stars, is it considered commercial or have broad audience appeal in a specific region?

The rate paid for any film may vary greatly (it may be much less, or much more depending on the film) from these lists.

The following are basic guides to get an idea of the licensing fees buyers are typically paying by territory.

Unless otherwise noted as "All Rights" these lists are for films sold on a territory-by-territory basis, not for films which are acquired in a worldwide all-rights deal (all-rights deals are generally how the larger distributors or mini-majors acquire films and those films are typically acquired at the major top tier film festivals).
